1. Acceptance of Terms

By applying to or participating in the HOGFurniture Affiliate Program (“Program”), you (“Affiliate”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not participate in the Program.

2. Definitions

• Affiliate Link / Coupon: A unique tracking URL or code assigned to you
• Qualified Purchase: A valid, completed order eligible for commission
• Cookie Window: 30 days from the first click unless otherwise stated
• Dashboard: Your affiliate account interface for tracking performance

3. Enrollment & Eligibility

• All applications are subject to approval at our discretion
• We reserve the right to accept, reject, or remove affiliates at any time
• You must provide accurate personal and payment information

Prohibited Platforms & Content

• Illegal or fraudulent activities
• Hate speech, violence, or harmful content
• Adult or obscene content
• Misleading or deceptive practices
• Impersonation of HOGFurniture

You must not:

• Register domains or social handles similar to “HOGFurniture”
• Misrepresent yourself as the official brand

4. Affiliate Links, Tracking & Attribution

• Sales are tracked using your affiliate link and/or coupon code
• Attribution is based on last valid click or coupon usage within the cookie window

To ensure tracking:

• Always use your link or coupon
• Do not alter tracking parameters

5. Commission Structure

• Affiliates earn 3% commission on qualified purchases
• Rates may vary depending on campaigns and will be shown in your dashboard

6. Commission Validation & Approval

A commission is considered approved when:

• The order has been successfully delivered
• The 7-day return period has passed

Approval typically occurs on Day 8 (T+8) after delivery.

7. Payout Terms

• No minimum payout threshold
• Payments are processed twice weekly (Tuesday & Thursday)
• Cut-off: 23:59 WAT before payout day

Payment Methods:

• Nigerian accounts: Bank Transfer (NIP)
• International: Supported gateways where available

Processing time depends on financial institutions.

8. Exclusions & Commission Reversal

Commissions will not be paid on the following transactions:

• Cancelled orders
• Returned items within the applicable return period
• Fraudulent, suspicious, or non-genuine transactions
• Gift cards or any products specifically marked as excluded
• Purchases made by the affiliate for personal use using their own affiliate link or coupon

We reserve the right to review and decline commissions where there is reasonable evidence of self-referral or misuse, including but not limited to matching email address, phone number, delivery details, or other identifiable information.

If a commission has already been paid and the related order is later cancelled, refunded, or found to violate these terms, the commission amount will be deducted from future payouts or recovered where applicable.

9. Advertising & Promotion Rules

9.1 Anti-Spam Policy

• No unsolicited messages (email, SMS, WhatsApp, DMs)
• User consent must be obtained where required

9.2 Paid Advertising Restrictions

• No bidding on “HOGFurniture” or similar keywords
• No use of brand name in ad URLs
• No impersonation of HOGFurniture

9.3 Prohibited Practices

• Cookie stuffing
• Fake clicks or traffic manipulation
• Forced redirects
• Hidden tracking scripts
• Misleading popups

Violation will result in immediate termination.

9.4 Content & Disclosure

• Be truthful in all promotions
• Clearly disclose affiliate relationship

Example: “I may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.”

10. Intellectual Property

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use our materials
• You may not modify, resell, or claim ownership
• No use of our brand in domains or social handles

11. Data Protection & Privacy

• Comply with NDPR, GDPR where applicable
• Do not collect customer payment details
• Handle personal data responsibly

12. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraud
• Damage the brand reputation

You may terminate participation at any time.

Upon termination:

• Stop all promotions immediately
• Approved commissions may still be paid at our discretion

13. Independent Contractor

You act as an independent contractor. This does not create employment, partnership, or agency relationship.

14. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Liability is limited to commissions paid in the last 6 months

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify HOGFurniture against claims arising from your actions, promotions, or violations.

16. Taxes & Compliance

• You are responsible for your taxes
• KYC verification may be required before payouts

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Jurisdiction: Lagos State.

18. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation implies acceptance.
